Our Team

All of our therapists have expertise in early childhood and have been trained in ABA principles as well as naturalistic interventions including Pivotal Response Training and Enhanced Milieu Teaching. Parent training is guided by evidence based programs, ImPACT and RUBI Autism Network: Parent Training for Disruptive Behaviors.

 
 

Courtney Wright

Courtney is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with 15 years experience working with young children with a variety of speech and language needs. Courtney is the sole owner of KidPRO and works primary as the CEO managing the day to day adventures of running a small business. Courtney received her masters degree in Speech Language Pathology, and doctoral degree in Special Education from Vanderbilt University.

Courtney believes her experiences in research, special education, and speech pathology provide a strong foundation for building effective treatment programs for young children. She is committed to evidence based practice, progress monitoring, and training partners in the child’s functional environment as well as providing a supportive and caring culture for all of her employees. Courtney lives in Nashville with her husband and kids who love baseball, boating, and being outdoors with their pup, Athena.


Alexis Witkin

Lexi is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and our Clinical Director. She earned both her bachelor’s degree in High Incidence Special Education and her master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Vanderbilt University, and she has worked in inclusive early learning center settings in Tennessee and California as a teaching fellow, research assistant, and behavior specialist. Her favorite part of the KidPRO team is the clinic-wide commitment to the motto, "Let Them Be Little." Lexi loves every opportunity to collaborate with the incredible families and service providers who help kiddos grow and learn!


Kristina Moore

Kristina is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies from The University of Southern Mississippi and her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Lipscomb University. Kristina has 9 years of experience working with young children across home, school, and clinic settings. She worked at KidPRO during graduate school as an RBT and returned in 2022 as a BCBA. She loves KidPRO’s commitment to high quality services and multidisciplinary collaboration. Kristina lives in Nolensville with her husband and son. 


Lori Throne

Lori is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She earned her bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies from Baylor University and her master’s degree in Child Studies from Vanderbilt University. She has experience working with children who have learning differences across research and preschool settings in the DC area and Texas before moving to Tennessee. She loves being able to watch her clients learn and grow in the clinic! Outside of KidPRO, Lori loves baking, reading books, and traveling.


Izzy Wood

Izzy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Sewanee: The University of the South and her master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Southeast Missouri State University. Izzy has 4 years of experience in ABA and 2 of those years have been spent at KidPRO where she first started as an RBT. She is passionate about increasing communication skills and skill building through play. 


Jocelyn Moraw

Jocelyn is a licensed Speech-language pathologist. She earned her undergraduate degree in Communications with a minor in Communicative Sciences and Disorders and Master’s degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Michigan State University in 2019 and 2021. She is originally from Michigan and completed her clinician fellowship at a pediatric private practice that specialized in services related to Autism Spectrum Disorders. She has certifications and experience working with Autism and play-based therapy, language disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, Augmentative and Alternative Communication devices, and infant/pediatric feeding disorders.


Amy Taylor

Amy comes to KidPRO and the Nashville area having relocated with her family from the greater NY Metro area in 2021. She earned her Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders from New York University. While she has worked with both the pediatric and geriatric populations, she has an affinity to working with children. She prides herself in finding connection with each individual child, meeting them at their present level of communication and finding fun ways to motivate and encourage development of skills all while utilizing evidence-based practice. When she is not in the clinic, Amy is likely watching her 14 year-old son play baseball or her 12 year-old daughter dance. In her spare time she can be found outside gardening with her husband and their yellow lab and doodle sitting right by their side.


Rebecca Whitaker

Rebecca Whitaker earned her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Belmont University in 2021. With experience working with children of all ages in both school and clinic settings, Rebecca is dedicated to facilitating their growth, development, and independence. She is passionate about collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and parents to enhance and celebrate the skills of each child. Rebecca believes in meeting each child where they are and tailoring interventions to their individual needs. She was honored with the 2021 Distinguished OTD Leadership Award from Belmont University and has actively contributed to the Tennessee Occupational Therapy Association by serving as Chair of the Student Involvement Committee and as an Executive Board member. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys crocheting and trying to grasp the nuances of sports while watching games with her husband and friends.


Kelly Bruce Merryman

Kelly is a board certified, licensed, and registered occupational therapist of 12 years.  She attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and went on to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center to obtain her master’s degree in occupational therapy.  Kelly’s passion is working with children on the skills of living and spending time with her family.


Kelly Quigley

Kelly is a licensed Physical Therapist. She earned undergraduate degrees in Exercise Science and Health Behavior Science at the University of Delaware, and continued on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Thomas Jefferson University. She is originally from New Jersey, and has completed many rotations in pediatrics. Upon her move to the Nashville area in 2021, she completed a pediatric residency at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt University and Belmont University. In March of 2023, she sat for, and passed her Pediatric Clinical Specialist examination, qualifying her as a Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy. Kelly's passion is working with children of all ages (babies too!) on developing and advancing their gross motor skills to allow for optimal functioning. Kelly spends the time that she is not treating, leading the STUNT team at Trevecca Nazarene University.
