What is ABA?
ABA stands for Applied Behavior Analysis which is an approach to treatment driven by science and data. All human behavior is affected by the consequences that follow it. Therefore, we can teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors by changing the consequences thus shaping growth and development.
For all services, we will call your insurance company to verify benefits and eligibility and discuss these with you prior to scheduling any services. For services NOT covered by your insurance plan, we offer private pay rates and discounts for larger packages.
Is my child eligible for services?
How many hours of ABA does my child need?
That depends on your child’s needs. We will complete a comprehensive evaluations and make a recommendation. We offer focused interventions ranging from 10-25 hours per week to address behavior, language, and communication goals. Additionally, a parent or caregiver will spend time with the BCBA to learn how to generalize gains into home and other everyday environments.
Will you come to my home or my child’s school?
We primarily see children in the clinic to work on goals in a neutral environment free of distractions. We are currently providing services in First Steps inclusive preschool program as well. Some home sessions may be scheduled as part of a fading plan from ABA services.
